Left Of Center worked for almost five years to bring this event to the stage and in November, the trio rocked the roof off of the upper performance center like it had never been rocked before! Audiences both nights raved about the music, the atmosphere and how the music just kept coming!
"We have taken a deep dive into the Fleetwood Mac Songbook and brought all your favorite songs into an acoustically unique, intimate show reminiscent of the MTV: Unplugged series from the 1990's. You'll know every lyric...you'll sing every word...you'll be filled with memories and your head and toes will not keep still as we tickle your musical taste buds."
This show is not being billed as a tribute concert, in its simplest definition, we are not duplicating their music. Every song has been carefully selected and crafted with the utmost creativity, & respect for the music, making sure to leave nothing on the table. Left Of Center gets you in the feels with the powerhouse vocals of Nikki Gray and two of the province's most talented guitarists, Lloyd Haight and Vance Macleod. Fleetwood fans young, old and everywhere in between will fall in love all over again with the music and its creative twists!
We're partnering with Centre Stage Theatre in Kentville, NS to host a 2-Night Event as a collaboration fundraiser for the theatre! A portion of all ticket sales will be for the theatre and the amazing live theatre productions they provide to the community. There will be light snacks and a cash bar serving wine, beer, and some non-alcoholic beverages.
Join us on Friday, April 12th, 2024 and Saturday, April 13th, 2024 where Left Of Center will take CentreStage. Doors open at 6:15, Show Starts at 7 pm in the Upper Performance Centre on River Street, Kentville. There's parking at the theatre. The room will be decked out with tables and mood lighting to create an atmosphere comfortable for all audience members to settle in and enjoy the show!

"Blue Letter" (Fleetwood Mac Cover)
This creative rendition of Fleetwood Mac's "Blue Letter" is one of over 30 songs in our "OFF THE CHAIN: A Fleetwood Mac Songbook Experience" Show. Most audiences and fans have known this song to be a hard driving, full tilt rock song for Fleetwood, but, when doing our deep dive in to their music, the lyrics quickly presented themselves as being very sad and reflective, something that we felt was overlooked by the driving music the original had. A softer, innocent yet experienced vibe came out of our creative brainstorm and a sweet and whimsical tune filled with delightful and playful finger picking on the acoustic guitars is what spoke to us as it unfolded in the studio.
"Sara" (Fleetwood Mac Cover)
The persistent, melodic, ebb and flow of this song has an underlying movement to it, that gives the lyrics such a fluid place to live. This has quickly become one of our favorites in our "Off The Chain: A Fleetwood Mac Songbook Experience" show. When we first set off on our journey into the Fleetwood Mac music library, there was much debate among us whether or not we should do this song. As a lead vocalist, Nikki was a hard "No" "The song does not make sense" "There was no definitive pattern". Like she does most often times....she sat with it, played it on repeat for a couple months...then, the song just let it's magic set in her....and came back to the studio to tell the boys "We're doing that song"

"I Don't Want To Know" (Fleetwood Mac Cover)
We were so excited to do this video....we had so much fun becoming cartoons!!!
We knew we wanted to do one of our songs with this effect, we just needed to figure out which one. "I Don't Want To Know" is such an upbeat, fun little ditty. we knew it had to be this one! And....We're on a billboard in Times Square!! How cool is that!

"Gypsy" (Fleetwood Mac Cover)
"Gypsy" has always been one of our very favorite songs to play of the Fleetwood catalog. It has such a flow to it, a playfulness, a whimsy.
We'd also like to acknowledge Christine Macleod for her wonderful artwork that became our backdrop for this video.
